Matt 7:7-11

Prayer is…

  1. a command–ask, seek, knock, with persistence
  2. common sense
  3. coming to God – Heb 4:14-16, Matt 11

Why don’t we pray?

  1. We don’t know God or Jesus
  2. In a period of disobedience
  3. We think we can do it ourselves
  4. Don’t believe that God will answer our prayers
  5. Too busy to pray
