1. Grudges don’t work
2. Grudges grow like cancer
3. Grudges generate guilt
4. Grudges handcuff you to the past
5. Grudges are energy leaks
6. Grudges usurp God’s rightful role

Insufficient Remedies for a Grudge

• Cover it up
• Forget it
• Excuse it

We must:

1. Condemn the injustice as wrong, then grant a pardon anyway.
2. Hate the sin, but love the sinner enough to forgive him or her.
